Setting up a new point-of-sale system can feel like a big task, but with Accron POS you can go from signup to your first sale in under an hour. Here's the path we recommend.

1. Complete your business profile

After creating your account, head to My Account and add your business information — name, category, country, and number of locations. This provisions your business workspace and determines which features are switched on for your industry.

2. Choose a plan and complete payment

Pick the plan that matches your team size. Once your payment is confirmed through PayHere, your subscription activates automatically and the app downloads unlock in your dashboard.

3. Download and install the app

From the Downloads card in your account you can grab:

• Windows POS — the full desktop till for your counter.
• Android app — your own branded mobile app, built specifically for your business.

Install the Windows app on your counter machine and sign in with your owner account.

4. Set up your catalogue

Before your first sale, load your products or menu:

1. Create your categories first (e.g. Beverages, Mains, Stationery).
2. Add items with prices — you can bulk-add and refine later.
3. Set taxes and service charges if they apply to your business.

5. Add your team

Invite staff members and assign roles. Owners and admins get full access; employees see only the till functions they need. Every action is tracked per user, so day-end reconciliation stays clean.

6. Connect your printer

Accron POS supports standard thermal receipt printers over USB and network. Print a test receipt from settings before opening for business.
